Come le nuvole
Necessario come l'acqua trasparente,
tenace come le fronde di un ulivo,
inscalfibile come il granito sulla montagna,
vitale come le lingue del fuoco,
sconfinato come il lungo respiro dell' universo
importante e sincero come una stretta di mano,
ma soprattutto senza peso e
ogni giorno nuovo
come le nuvole

Like the clouds
As essential as clear water,
as tenacious as the brances of an olive tree,
unscratchable as mountain granite,
as vital as tongues of fire,
boundless as the long breath of the universe
strong and sincere like a handshake,
but most of all, weightless and
new every day
like the clouds
